We are Cotswold Flight Training

We are here to help you learn to fly, and to keep flying with confidence.

You’ll train with experienced instructors and be part of a supportive flying community.

We teach the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and can help you plan what comes next. We specialise in grassroots flying and Hour Building, which could be the start of your commercial modular training.

If you are building hours, our aircraft hire and self-fly options help you stay current and keep progressing.

Enstone Airfield

At Enstone Airfield, there is no lengthy holding sat on the ground whilst paying airborne rates, we’ll have you airborne and flying above the beautiful cotswold countryside in 5 minutes.

From the cockpit you’ll have stunning views of chocolate-box villages and the Cotswolds most famous landmarks: From Castle Combe and Cleeve Hill to Broadway Tower, Bath and the spires of Oxford. This stunning location is easy to reach from Oxford, Bath, Cheltenham, London and Bristol and offers the perfect training environment.

Enstone is a true community-led airfield, with our Self Fly Club you can be a part of something even when not flying.

Helping our community

Supporting young aviators

We want aviation to feel possible for more young people.

We run supervised sessions with local schools and youth groups, so students can see what training involves and ask questions.

For some, it is the first step towards ground school, a trial lesson, or a longer-term plan to learn to fly.

Nature Nurture at Enstone Airfield

Nature Nurture is our commitment to look after the Enstone Airfield habitat alongside our flying operations.

That includes planting native trees in the right places, and protecting areas that support wildlife.

This work is ongoing, and we are focused on practical improvements we can maintain over time.
